Last week (June 18 - 25), prices for scrap metal on the world market did not change. On the key Turkish market for Ukraine, the operating price range remained at the previous level - $495-505/mt CIF.

Metallurgical enterprises did not change their purchase prices last week, leaving them at the level of UAH 8,000/mt. Remains of scrap in warehouses of metallurgical plants decreased to 252 thousand tons.  

Last week (June 11-18), scrap metal quotations decreased after a discount provided by American suppliers in the Turkish market.  The average price was $500/mt.

Metallurgical enterprises did not change their purchase prices last week, leaving them at the level of UAH 8,000/mt. Remains of scrap in warehouses of metallurgical plants decreased to 305 thousand tons. 

Due to the positive situation on the metallurgical market, key indicators of the domestic scrap market have grown significantly over 5 months. Scrap scrap increased by 35% – up to 1.57 million tons, scrap supplies to metallurgical plants – by 22.6%, up to 1.35 million tons.
