According to customs statistics, promulgated by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine in November, only 3.863 thousand tons of scrap were exported, whereas in October - 8.274 thousand tons, in September - 7.590 thousand tons, August - 19.050 thousand tons, July - 10.939 thousand tons, June - 19.359 thousand tons, May - 34.537 thousand tons, April - 76.331 thousand tons, March - 53.668 thousand tons, February - 52.634 thousand tons and January - 33.814 thousand tons.
At the same time, in January-November of the current year, imports of scrap metal in physical terms increased by 54.7% compared with January-November-2017 - up to 33,312 thousand tons.
In January-November-2018, scrap was imported mainly from Turkey (74.06%), exports to Moldova (63.94%) and Turkey (33.93%).
