Metallurgists will continue to gradually reduce the purchase prices on the domestic market

Until the end of the year, metallurgists will carry out several more stages of lowering prices in the domestic market. Against the background of expectations of a decrease in purchase prices, supply of scrap to metal plants rose to 78 thousand tons. As a result, many players have unloaded warehouses.
Stocks of steel plants increased to 171 thousand tons, which is the maximum value since the summer of this year. The inventory indicator in work days increased to 20 days, which is actually twice the standard value.
Scrap stocks in the ports of Ukraine have grown and currently amount to 6.6 thousand tons.
The forecast average price next week is 7600 UAH / ton.
