The draft Law of Ukraine No. 7497 of January 17, 18 has not been reviewed today in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. For the third time in the last two months, the draft law is put on the agenda, but is not being considered. The next date for inclusion in the agenda is not yet known

The Turkish authorities introduced quotas for the import of a number of metal products. If the quotas are exceeded, the rent will be taxed at a rate of 25%, Reuters reports citing government sources.

According to the State Fiscal Service, in August 2018, in comparison with August 2017, ferrous metal scrap imports increased by 53.2%, to $ 2.849 million, while exports - down 66.1%, to $ 5.826 million. 95% of ferrous scrap Ukraine exported to Turkey ($ 5.504 million).

Four large Chinese steel companies Baowu Steel Group, Ansteel Group, Magang Group and China Orient Asset Management are merged into the joint venture Huabao Metalurgical Assets Management Co. Baowu Steel Group will own 37.5% of the new joint venture, while Orient Asset and Ansteel will own 25% of the shares, and Magang - 12.5%.
