    Over the past week (August 20 - 27), scrap metal quotations moved horizontally. As a result, prices for the basic type of scrap HMS 1&2 (80:20) in the Turkish market remained at the same level - $440-450/mt CIF.

    Last week (August 6-13), scrap prices dropped in all regional markets due to the continuing weakening of demand for rebar and wire rod. On the Turkish market, raw material prices dropped to $450-460/mt CIF for HMS 1&2 (80:20).

    Last week (August 6-13), metallurgical enterprises reduced purchase prices for scrap metal by UAH 300 - to UAH 9000/mt. The reason is the fall in the cost of scrap metal in external directions and the reduction in the cost of finished rolled products.
